As the telecommuting community continues to grow, so does the need to address your home workstation. Whether experiencing active discomfort or being proactive, understanding how to achieve a neutral posture and position while working will provide greater long term physical and mental health.
A remote telephonic assessment will assist in understanding and identifying the ergonomic risk factors and potential poor work practices associated with your workstation and how you work. Once risk factors are identified, the ergonomist will work with you to determine the best feasible solutions for correcting them and working pain free.
Benefiting from this service also means you can be anywhere to receive these ergonomic services. To start you will be emailed a set of questions, asked to include several photos of your workstation and while you’re working at it, along with instructions to take a few measurements to assist in the risk assessment process. Once that information has been collected, the ergonomist will call to ask any further questions needed, discuss risk
factors found and provide education so you understand how these can adversely affect you and how best to mitigate them.
After the telephonic assessment is complete, you will be emailed a written report with risk factors, recommended changes and equipment (if needed) and hyperlinks of needed items.
This remote telephonic assessment will assist in improving your posture and position while working; it will decrease discomfort and increase your comfort level and productivity.
